So, this is the Blog. Fascinating. all seems suitably chaotic. excellent.

for the record, i too am undecided with regards to the bible, religion probably is the root cause of evil, but it’s pretty much the only game in town, so everyone has to play, and God probably put all those dinosaur skeletons in the ground to test yer faith. In fact, i reckon almost everything falls into that particular category. The world was in fact created last tueday, around teatime.

not, it would seem, that i understand it’s workings. Why has this posted here? How does one put a general post on the main page. These are the great questions that have taxed the greatest minds since the dawn of time (tuesday)

Everybody knows dinasaur bones are actually the bones of demons who crashed to the world after Lucifer dissented. Right?

  • petebrierley 11:05 am on 7 May, 2008 | # |

    Yeah… I knew that

  • bidgood 9:59 am on 13 May, 2008 | # |

demons bones. Great name for a tom waits album

  • bidgood 12:26 am on 20 May, 2008 | # |

    Hmm

Two observations. First, no one has written on here for days, suggesting to me that the initial rush of blogging excitement has faded, much as it did last time. Partly because facebook provides a better forum for social arrangements. So, what is the purpose of this fine blog type affair? Surely to continue all those fascinating discussions that are never quite finished during espace de tete!

Which brings me elegantly to numero 2. How does one post a new topic on the main page, This, you will have no doubt noticed, is the only part of the site i seem able to write on. Am i missing something? I wanna start a thread about fun de mentals!

Tom wait’s new tour is called ‘glitter and doom’, by the way. Demon bones would have been good too, though. Have you all watched the press conference clip on youtube?

If Headspace had a creed or statement of faith (although no one would be required to sign off on it) which one of the following would it be:

    (1) The Apostles Creed – 4th century AD (traditional text)

I BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty,
    Maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
    Born of the Virgin Mary:
    Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
    Was crucified, dead, and buried:
    He descended into hell;
The third day he rose again from the dead:
    He ascended into heaven,
And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost:
    The holy catholic Church;
    The Communion of Saints:
    The Forgiveness of sins:
    The Resurrection of the body,
    And the Life everlasting.
    Amen

    (2) The Nicene Creed of 381 AD (modern language version)

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only-begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, Begotten, not made, one in being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became a human being. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. And I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

(3)The Salem Church Covenant of 1630 (Salem Town, Massachusetts Bay Colony, New England, British North America)

We Covenant with the Lord and one with another; and doe bynd our selves in the presence of God, to walke together in all his waies, according as he is pleased to reveale himselfe unto us in his blessed word of truth.

    (4) The Winchester Profession of 1803

The Profession of Belief of the Universal Churches and Societies of the New England States, Winchester, New Hampshire, USA, 1803.

We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament contain a revelation of the character of God, and of the duty, interest and final destination of humankind.

We believe that there is one God, whose nature is Love, revealed in one Lord Jesus Christ, by one Holy Spirit of Grace, who will finally restore the whole human family to holiness and happiness.

We believe that holiness and true happiness are inseparably connected, and that believers ought to be careful to maintain order and practice good works; for these things are good and profitable for all people.

    (5) The Washington Declaration of 1936 (adapted)

The Declaration of the Univeralist Church of America, Washington, DC, USA

The bond of our fellowship shall be a common purpose to do the will of God as Jesus revealed it and to co-operate in establishing the kingdom for which he lived and died.

To that end, we avow our faith in God as Eternal and All-conquering Love, in the spiritual leadership of Jesus, in the supreme worth of every human personality, in the authority of truth known or to be known, and in the power of men of good-will and sacrificial spirit to overcome evil and progressively establish the Kingdom of God. Neither this nor any other statement shall be imposed as a creedal test, provided that the faith thus indicated be professed.

    what do you think?

    Hey, Bidgood!

There should be a grey bar at the top of the page, and in that bar should be a thing marked “post”. Pick “the headspace collective under that menu (for menu it is) and you can make posts.

    Genius.

    Hey, Bidgood!

There should be a grey bar at the top of the page, and in that bar should be a thing marked “new post”. Pick “headspaceinlondon” under that menu (for menu it is) and you can make posts.

    Genius.

  • bidgood 2:10 am on 30 July, 2008 | # |

sadly this function does not seem to be available to me. My grey bar has only ‘my account’ and ‘blog info’ menus, neither of which has a post function.

However, we may all have missed the big one…

Have we come across todd bentley? what can i say. If you haven’t seen any of his stuff a whole world of youtube based hilarity awaits you. The biggest problem you will have is working out who is more crazed, the man himself or his detractors (who are many and vociferous)

    here is a tiny taster
